Since we homeschool, we do not always necessarily take holidays with the county. This time we did! 🙂 We took Labor Day as a day off and it turned into a fantastic day. I realized that last year, I did not take any “school pictures” of the kids. Normally, we take pictures of them, have them printed in varying sizes and pass them out just like everyone else does. I completely skipped last year (#momfail). So, I thought it would be nice to grab my camera, load up the family, and head downtown to enjoy the lovely weather and hopefully snap a few pics as well!!
The weather here in Charleston has been absolutely beautiful the past few days. Although, it was a holiday weekend and there were plenty of tourists around…we had a gorgeous day!
I was able to snap some quick pics of the kids. I cannot believe how much they have grown!
My beautiful Allie was ready and willing to stop and pose wherever I asked…
Gary on the other hand, was not as excited. We may or may not have bribed him with the promise of lunch…
and Gary giving me crazy smiles because he was tired of taking pics!
We wandered around Charleston- which we love to do- and enjoyed our breathtaking city…
We even stopped at a new place for lunch and loved it. Apparently, it was National Cheese Pizza Day (that or either our kids made that up to get there way on the lunch decision)….
Here is proof that Gary’s bribe was honored ….
We even made one more stop after lunch to do a little tree climbing!
We had a fabulous day!
